Munich Syndrome began as a stark electronic music project. The earliest tracks were minimal with gothic electro overtones. As the music evolved, early versions and demos were posted on various music websites. As more songs were posted and the need to network easily grew, the first website was created. A simple six-page site with an About page, News, a page for the first release, Sensual Ambience, a page for the forthcoming project Electro (Electro Pop when released), a page with shopping links, and a contact page was created.

While still promoting the debut album on the front page, the next project, Electro Pop, was moving along and the design and layout of the website evolved to reflect the look of the upcoming release. This iteration of the website included merchandise and clothing links.

Electro Pop propelled Munich Syndrome to an entirely new and expanded audience. The next release, Electronic Ecstasy, built upon the electro pop foundation of its predecessor exploring the "pop" side of electro further. The next iteration of the website put Electronic Ecstasy front and center, but also now featured the previous two releases as well as the growing merchandise and clothing section.

The next phase of Munich Syndrome completely embraced the robotic nature of the vocoder that resulted in their fourth album(s) Robotika and Robotika (Expanded). A starker offering than previous releases Robotika offers a thematically tied narrative about identity and the increasingly blurred lines of where mankind, business, and technology intersect. This also ushered in more multi-media. Videos were made extrapolating the "Munich Man" from the covers of the albums into to a virtual 3-D world and is now featured front and center. With the growing list of social media now being more important than ever, links to the top 12 sites Munich Syndrome is involved in are always easily accessible in the top navigation as are direct links to each of the albums.

The navigation was set to put the albums — primary commerce drivers — at the very top, the albums. Secondary navigation runs down the left-hand side with the next items of importance. These two navigational features are constant and accessible on every page on the site. The albums run chronologically from left to right, starting with the first album, Sensual Ambience.

Sensual Ambience Page
Each album page contains the technical information of the release, album art, links to purchase the album, as well as reviews and related video content. This is a basic template used for all the ablums, the next one being Electro Pop.
